The National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) is the United States of America FIG Member Association representing the surveying profession in the United States.
NSPS strives to establish and further common interests, objectives, and political efforts that would help bind the surveying profession into a unified body in the United States.
Established in 1983 and incorporated in 1991 NSPS merged with the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) in 2012, and FIG member association since 1959. In 2021 NSPS celebrates its 40th anniversary while ACSM celebrates the 80th anniversary of its founding.
